Walking in the Darkness

Kayla Yale slowly walked though the square. She wore a blue parka with a feathered hood. Her gaze turned to some bushes, where she thought she had heard someone. She sighed, and kept walking.

It was late, was Kayla walked. She felt alone, and friendless. She continued to walk, her brown eyes looking down on the path. Suddenly, she flipped her head around. she had thought she had heard something again

I need to some imaging things! thought Kayla, as she turned her head around again, to face ahead of her. Slowly, she continued walking.

Thump thump thump

Her feet made a steady thump on the hard tar road as she ran, wavy blonde hair pulled tight back into a ponytail, which swung as she ran. Surprisingly all Lyre had on was sweat pants, a warm shirt and a jacket, light. But warm. Lyre wasnt to much in tune with the cold anyway, she had been running for a while now. But heck, Lyre's life was lived in movement. Now though she began slowing down seeing as she was begining to tire and there was a girl up ahead who kept looking back, so she figured that she would be freaked out if Lyre ran past. Slowing up she came to a jog next to Kayla, and smiled. "Hi my names Lyre. Sorry if I scared you. I go someplace else when Im running". she said and then smiled.
